LOOK AT THOSE LEAVES! The jade green to greenish-blue foliage of this plant emerges from upright terrestrial petioles. These leaves are remarkably thick, giving them a cardboard-like texture that may even fool you into thinking they are artificial.

ELEPHANT EAR! This plant thrives in bright, indirect light, but should be shielded from direct sun exposure. Allow the top 2 to 3 inches of soil to dry out before watering. Aim to maintain ideal temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Please note that the Alocasia Melo is toxic to pets.
